Keith Football Club history Highlights

• Club Formed in 1910
• Reformed in January 26th 1919
• First pitch was Seafield Park, and they played in the Huntly & District League.
• Sir John W Kynoch donated Kynoch Park in 1922.
• Entered Highland League in 1924.
• Record Home Defeat 1-9 against Elgin City in 1925.
• Played first ever Scottish Cup tie in 1926, losing 7-3 at Peebles Rovers.
• Played first ever Scottish Cup tie at Kynoch Park in 1928 winning 5-2 against Dalbeattie Star. Lost 1-6 in 2nd Round against Scottish Cup Holders Celtic in front of a record crowd of 5,820. This was Celtic's first ever appearance North of Aberdeen, and their side included such all-time greats as tragic keeper John Thomson and goal machine Jimmy McGory.
