Former Ross County youth goalie, Andy came to Kynoch Park nine seasons ago and won the No: 1 jersey with some fine displays. Has played for the Scottish semi-professional side on several occasions with distinction and is an excellent point blank shot stopper. Has made over 280 appearances for the Club.
The Club's record scorer with 197 goals, the former striker was the Maroons top scorer for five successive seasons, quite a feat. Has been a key defender for several seasons now, and is the club captain. Makes a difficult job look easy, Derek is the longest serving player at the Club, remarkably now in his 16 th season having joined Keith from Culter in 1995.
A midfielder/ striker. “Deano” recovered well from an ankle operation last season ending up with a best ever tally of 15 goals. Has got good pace and possesses a good shot as well, Puts in some useful crosses for the other strikers to get on the end of, he stepped up from the under 21 side in 2001. Started this season off well with a fine double in the opening game. Has made over 270 appearances for the Club.
Central defender Kris was signed from Glentanar in January 2003, and he has proved to be a real tiger in defence. He is an uncompromising defender who neither gives nor asks for any quarter. Makes up a good partnership with Derek Nicol, “Nidds” often plays through the pain barrier, always giving his all. Has played over 220 times for the Club.
Full back Graham joined the Maroons from Glentanar, and has proved to be a very dependable defender indeed. Has played for the Scottish semi-professional side. Has developed a talent for doing well at dead ball situations.
Wayne came from Formartine United eight years ago with a healthy reputation of being a playmaker. Took a while to settle, but he is now a valuable part of the squad, making some fine passes and never stops buzzing about the field. Has been unlucky with injuries recently.
Right back signed seven years ago after being on loan from Peterhead. Jonathan likes to overlap and is also a tough tackler. He more than plays his part in an experienced defence. He has the ability to whip in crosses for the strikers when the chance arises.
Highly rated full back signed from Banks O'Dee earlier in the summer. Very pacy and willing to come upfield, capable of whipping in enticing crosses to the danger area, he is fitting in very quickly into senior football
Stuart is one of those handy players who will play anywhere he is asked. He has starred at full back, on the wing, up front and even in midfield. He is a strong runner with an eye for a goal. Top scorer two seasons ago with 18 goals to his credit. He is a key player this term for Keith in their bid for honours, He was called up from the under 21 squad , now in his eighth full season.
Jamie was released by Aberdeen six years ago, and ended up putting pen to paper for the Maroons. He was a striker who had an eye for a goal and is incredibly gifted, playing the latter part of last season in midfield. He became the youngest player in the Club's history to end up as top scorer for a season in 2005/06 with 12 goals, and netted 15 times last season.
Striker Sean is a younger brother of centre forward Cammy. Signed during the summer of 2008 from Montrose where he was deemed surplus to requirements. Possesses great ball skill with an eye for a goal as well. Is a threat to most defences with his pacy weaving runs and crosses a good ball.
Prolific scorer Cammy returned to Kynoch Park last summer after a year and a half in America on a soccer scholarship. He suffered from illness and injury early on, but after the New Year was really on fire, ending up with 28 goals. Cammy is a hot handful for any defence and continues to be a contender for top goal scorer in the SHFL.
Phil is a tall defender who likes foraging upfield to help the forwards. Joined up a couple of seasons ago, came more into the scheme of things in the latter stages of last season. A product of the youth system.
Midfielder Gary came to Keith at the turn of the year from Banks o'Dee,and has settled in well. He is tough tackling, and will be an asset in the engine room for the Maroons this season.
Keith fans will be glad to see “Robbo” back in action this season, the midfielder having missed most of the last three seasons through injury. His experience is invaluable, and was signed from Lossiemouth in 2001.
Pacy winger/midfielder Darren left Turriff United for Keith during the course of last season, and has shown great skill and speed. His crossing ability is second to none, and is also capable of bulging the back of the net.
A former Aberdeen youth player, Jon was at Peterhead latterly, but was recently freed. Can play in midfield or in the firing line, and there are high hopes that he can be a key player as Keith search for honours this season.
